Fern Athletics Homeschool PE Program in Crofton, MD

The Fern Athletics Homeschool PE Program is a structured, non-competitive physical education program for homeschool families in Crofton, MD and surrounding Anne Arundel County areas. This program provides a consistent, high-quality homeschool PE experience during school hours and counts toward homeschool physical education requirements.

Families can choose between two programs:

⚽ Soccer Program

Our Soccer division combines skill development, small-sided play, and athletic training to help athletes improve ball control, coordination, decision-making, and overall game performance. This is not a league and does not focus on standings or competition. Instead, it emphasizes long-term development and structured physical education.

🏃 Speed, Agility & Strength (SAS) Program

Our Speed, Agility & Strength division focuses on sprint mechanics, coordination, balance, strength development, and injury prevention. This homeschool fitness class is ideal for multi-sport athletes or families looking for a structured PE program without soccer-specific training.

Both divisions are designed for homeschool athletes ages 8–13 and focus on building strong movement foundations, improving athleticism, and developing confidence in a positive, structured environment.

The program begins indoors in late February and transitions outdoors later in the spring as weather and daylight allow, giving homeschool families in Crofton and nearby communities a reliable, consistent PE option throughout the semester.

BOTH PROGRAMS

  • Primary Location (Starting): Mac Arena – Crofton, MD

Tots Soccer

May 15, 2025 By Sarah M.

My son loved Tots soccer! He's 4 years old and hasn't played any type of organized sports before, so he was a bit nervous at first. However, the Fern Athletics coaches made him feel welcome and he got better and better every week. Can't wait for the next season!

My son loved the integration of Speed, Agility, and Strength drills with soccer training. It was something he had never experienced with other programs. I can see how he will improve overall as an athlete. I highly recommend Fern Athletics and Coach Marquez!

College Athlete

April 11, 2025 By Cratus A.

Training with Fern Athletics helped me in so many ways. I can confidently say I’m more agile, more technical and my stamina has improved. Through the high intensity training and workouts in general I’ve become a better athlete and I didn’t think this was possible given the short time. I’d recommend Fern Athletics to anyone interested in improving their overall fitness and performance
